I run multiple businesses, but I’m not the sort of person you’ll find interviewed in Forbes magazine.
I’m rough around the edges, and have an Australian accent (and sense of humour!) that means most people can’t understand a word I say.
I doubt myself every day, and some days when it all gets too much I’ll go back to bed and watch Netfix.
But most days I’m out doing or working on something fun. And that’s not because I have some unattainable semi-charmed life. It’s because I made a choice to go out into the world and be happy.
After far too many years of doing the 9 to 5 and feeling trapped and unfulfilled, I hit my breaking point.
We live in this time, in this world, with all the opportunities that brings. And yet so many people still aren’t happy.
I realised that it was all just a ridiculous game. And so I chose to play a different one. To consciously choose what game I want to play and then play it by my rules. Not someone else’s.
I still live in this world, so it isn’t always easy. And at first it was incredibly lonely and scary. But the more I played, the more I found people that were out there doing the same sort of thing. And now I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I work on what I want, when I want and where I want.
If we work together, I’m just as likely to do it from a jungle in Costa Rica as I am to do it from a cafe in London.
So that’s me. I may not be your cup of tea, but if you think we’d get along then feel free to get in touch.
