Out on the road again tonight for some mile intervals, and I was surprised by the results…. I worked harder than last night and didn’t get any faster!

Despite a full mile warm up, and 2 mins rest in between, I only managed 9mins, 9mins and 8:45mins per mile interval.

The lesson?

Speed doesn’t come through brute force. It comes through relaxing.

Guess I had better work on my control issues…
