Early start to the day meant that by mid-afternoon I was more than ready for a nap. I got my beanbag and pillow set up in a cozy spot in the sun and closed my eyes…

Only to open them again, curse and climb into my running kit.

I KNOW how to energise myself these days. And unfortunately it no longer means slacking off and sleeping the afternoon away.

Five miles later I returned sharp and sweaty to get some important work done and enjoy the day.

That said it’s still early to bed for me tonight!
